Wreath inspiration using metal rings and pom poms
Time to start thinking about your winter and festive decor! I have always loved the look of simple wreaths or foliage fastened to brass hoops, simple greenery with a pop of pom poms.
That's one of the reasons why I started stocking these metal rings in the shop!
Simple bases with so many possibilities! I've collected some of my favourite ideas and tutorials from across the web (aka Pinterest) to help inspire your own wreath and decor making activities this festive period.

Pom Pom Wreath by Wool & the Gang
This really is as simple as making a ton of pom poms in different sizes and tying them onto the ring. Use an XL Loome tool for making the bigger pom poms. Mix and match yarn fibres, chunky wool ones with finer yarns. When choosing colours, I'd stick to 3 or 5 colours in total.

DIY Embroidery Hoop Wreath by Cotton Stem
This tutorial uses embroidery hoops, but I think it could work just as well with metal rings, some fine wire and greenery from your local florist. Arrange the greenery on the ring and carefully wind the wire around the stems.

Star wreaths by Rico Design
Don't stop with rings! Use the metal stars in the same way, either wrapping sparkly ribbon around the wire, fairy lights or tying pom poms around the wire frame to create a fluffy, pom pom wreath for your door.
